Bill has 38 years of experience with a strong background in chemical process engineering in the chemical, polymers and electric power industries. His experience includes design, operations, training, team development, consulting and program management. He has a passion for the development of emerging technologies, inorganic chemistry and trace constituent removal from industrial wastewaters and has been recognized with several industry awards.  For the past 5 years, Bill has been part of the team building Stantec’s Industrial Water practice.  His background in regulatory policy issues and operations has allowed for growth in the industrial and power markets. 
 
Bill has been integrally involved in the application of biological treatment systems, regulatory strategy, analytical methods development and operations of fossil fired power plant wastewater treatment. He has authored and presented numerous papers and webinars,  and is actively engaged in advancing treatment technologies and training of engineers,  
Bill enjoys spending time in the outdoors, hiking, visiting historical sites and gardening.  He is also an avid reader.
