Una Nowling
Ms. Una Nowling is a Senior Project Manager with more than 31 years of experience and leads the Applied Research Solutions group within Black & Veatch. Her primary engineering efforts are decarbonization via fuel conversion projects, biomass engineering and resource studies, green gas utilization, heat rate improvement studies, operations and maintenance planning and optimization, cycling impact studies, and rare earth element and critical mineral extraction. Ms. Nowling has managed more than 290 successful projects in her career. She sits on the ASME PTC/RAP Heat Rate Committee, is an Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Missouri, and is the author of the monthly “Marnie Surfaceblow” column featured in POWER Magazine.
