Sam Siegel is Vice President of Wholesale Strategy for Vistra Corp.  Sam supports the power generation, renewable development and commercial risk management businesses at Vistra by leading initiatives to improve overall coordination, performance, and growth across the organization.  Key projects he is working on include new gas plant development in West Texas, decarbonization of coal plants, and supporting data center related projects.  Sam serves on the Texas Energy Reliability Council (TERC) as the member representing dispatchable electric energy.  Previously Sam was the Vice President for Wholesale Regulatory Compliance and Assistant General Counsel for Vistra Prior to Vistra, Sam worked in Compliance at several investment banks and as a litigator at large national law firm.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Plan II and History from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law.
