Raihan Khondker is an award-winning engineering and operations management leader with over 20 years of experience in the power generation and transmission industry. As Manager of Generation and Transmission Weatherization Inspection at ERCOT, Raihan leads critical weatherization initiatives to enhance grid reliability and resilience in ERCOT region and oversees compliance with state-mandated weatherization code.
Raihan's leadership has driven weatherization reforms following Winter Storm Uri, achieving significant reliability improvements through appropriate weather preparedness. He is renowned for his expertise in nuclear sector, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and integrating advanced technologies and cloud applications to optimize performance.
Raihan's educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, followed by an MBA from West Texas A&M University, and culminated in a Master of Science from Brown University. He has an array of professional credentials, with his Professional Engineering license standing as a cornerstone among his qualifications.
