Mishaal SyedNaveed is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer focused on product development, compliance, verification, and risk assessment for Wartsila’s Quantum battery energy storage system (BESS) product suite.

Mishaal is a licensed Professional Engineer in Fire Protection with extensive experience in risk engineering, design, loss prevention, and code consulting across diverse projects within the energy industry. He has specialised expertise in BESS product development, compliance, verification, and risk assessment. He is an active member of CSA and UL technical committees related to battery energy storage. 

Mishaal holds a M.S. in Energy Systems Engineering from Northeastern University and B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from University of Maryland College Park.
