Marcus Martin started his career in the family business Martin Machinery, working in the Field Service department for 5 years, following which he took a role as sales engineer for 7 years, focusing on continuous Gas Generator combined heat and power; CHP and micro grids.

In 2015 he became owner and CEO of the company rebranded as Martin Energy Group, which has operations in USA, Canada, the Caribbean, and Australia.
