Mady Van Wieren is a mechanical engineer at HDR where she works as part of the project development team focusing on preliminary design and feasibility work. She received her undergraduate and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University. Mady's masters research and thesis was focused on developing neural network based control strategies to increase the efficiency of point absorber wave energy converter technology.
