Lance Edwards is the Fire Chief for the Bridgeport (Connecticut) Fire Department. He has more than 30 years of experience in firefighting and fire management, and an extensive background in labor-management mediation and negotiations. Fire Chief Edwards started his career in 1988 in the town of Stratford, Connecticut as a firefighter, eventually moving up to the rank of Lieutenant and then to Assistant Chief. He was appointed Bridgeport’s Deputy Fire Chief in 2016.
