Joshua Guzman Bell has 15 years of experience in nuclear power, working in design engineering, mechanical analysis, engineering programs, and currently supports Dominion Energy as their Nuclear Technology and Innovation Consultant. In this role he identifies, pilots, and implements new technologies to improve the safety and effectiveness of Dominion’s Nuclear fleet. Most recently, he led Dominion Nuclear’s robotic deployment projects which were selected as the 2023 & 2024 Best of the Best winners of the Nuclear Energy Institute’s Top Innovation Practices Award (a first in the industry) and he is currently leading Dominion Nuclear's AI efforts. He earned a BA in Economics from Virginia Tech, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University, and holds a Professional Engineering license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
