Jason has been working in Power Generation since 2007 shortly after graduating from Gonzaga University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked for Avista Utilities as an Operations and Maintenance Engineer focusing on improving availability and reliability for Avista's fleet. Avista's fossil fueled fleet includes combined and simple cycle gas turbines, aero-derivative gas turbines, reciprocating engines, a wood fired boiler and partial ownership of a coal plant. Additionally, hydro power makes up approximately 50% of the energy produced by Avista.
