Greg Alder currently serves as Director of Plant Optimization at Curtiss-Wright with over 30 years’ experience in thermal performance improvement, condition-based monitoring, and diagnosing degradation of power plants. His responsibilities include thermal performance modeling and consulting services to electric generating utilities. Additionally, Greg has been involved in evaluating plant uprates, repowering projects, vendor claims for plant component change outs, plant test results, incremental heat rate studies and lost power troubleshooting. Greg has extensive experience in developing and conducting thermal performance training programs.
