Getnet Muluye, Ph.D., P.Eng. Senior Hydrologist, New York Power Authority Dr. Muluye is a senior hydrologist at New York Power Authority. With a career spanning over two decades and a unique blend of teaching, research, and industry, Dr. Muluye has developed specialized knowledge base in the fields of hydropower operations, hydraulic structures, dam safety, hydraulics, hydrology, climate change studies, machine learning, and computational fluid dynamics. Holding a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from McMaster University, Dr. Muluye has gained expertise in various regions, including Africa, Asia, and North America. His extensive background enables him to provide valuable insights and expertise in the field.
