Alexis Griffin
Alexis started her career with Shell in 2005 as a Control Systems Engineer at the Convent refinery in Louisiana. Alexis graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and has an Executive MBA from The University of Memphis. She has held a variety of roles in Engineering, Business Development and Operational Excellence in industries including Chemicals, Energy and Aerospace.
In her current role as Decarbonization Commercial Director, she collaborates with customers across the oil and gas, chemicals, midstream and power sectors to reduce their emissions by licensing technologies such as CANSOLV for carbon capture and Shell’s Blue Hydrogen process for the production of low carbon hydrogen from natural gas. In her free time, Alexis enjoys playing classical music on the piano, singing and spending time with her two sons, Jackson and Carter.
