Aad den Elzen is the VP of Power Generation and Strategic Growth for Solar Turbines Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar, Inc.

Aad joined Solar Turbines in 1994 as part of Solar’s European entity in Switzerland. Throughout his tenure, he has held positions in sales, customer service, marketing, and business development. Aad has spent much of his career in business development with increasing responsibilities for sales and marketing operations in Europe and global sales for customer services. In 2016, Aad became Director of Business Development for Power Generation. He has held the position of Vice President since 2020. He is currently based in San Diego, California.

Aad holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from Nijenrode University in The Netherlands.
