The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) provides increased credit or deduction amounts for taxpayers who satisfy certain prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PWA) requirements for the construction, alteration or repair of qualified renewable energy projects. However, these requirements are often confusing, with electric utilities, contractors, and engineers struggling to keep up with guidance from Treasury and the IRS.
Hear from a panel of industry experts who are currently attempting to navigate these requirements and hear about the strategies they are employing to reduce the impact of compliance on project cost and schedule. Panelists will share varying approaches to meet rigorous recordkeeping and documentation needs.
