In 2023, JERA Americas upgraded their GE Frame 7F gas turbine at the Linden Cogen Plant in New Jersey with a combustion system retrofit designed to consume significant quantities of hydrogen-dense refinery off gas from Phillips66. The use of this gas has significantly reduced the carbon emissions from the gas turbine.

This session will provide an overview of the project complete with emission results. Presenters will also discuss the turbine upgrade which allowed for more power, more turndown % and improved efficiency to better compete in the competitive power market.
